In The Hollow Of The White Hazel is centered around being outside during a long harsh winter and finally emerging into a spring that never seemed like it was coming.

I started working on ideas in February 2023 and ended up completing the album mid way through July, taking my time and letting the sounds and ideas unfold.

A welcome break during the spring in Wales gave me a lot of inspiration for song titles and a renewed focus to complete the album.

I feel like the songs represent the juxtaposition of the seasons and the emotions I felt during that time as I was constantly impacted by the weather conditions, with some bright and sprightly ideas mixed in amongst the heavy coat, hat and gloves of hibernation.

In The Hollow Of The White Hazel was written and recorded at Beechwood Caravan Studios. All instruments and stages of production by Chris Jones (The Cooden Veins).
